Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the CaddieLoop mobile application and website (caddieloop.ai), operated by CaddieLoop ("we", "our", "us"). By using CaddieLoop, you agree to these Terms.
Account Registration
You must create an account to use CaddieLoop. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Subscriptions and Payments
- Free Tier: Basic round tracking with limited AI coaching (3 AI calls per day).
- Pro Tier: $7.99/month or $49.99/year. Includes unlimited AI coaching, caddie briefings, mid-round tips, practice plans, and equipment insights.
- Auto-Renewal: Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- iOS Subscriptions: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Manage or cancel in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- Web Subscriptions: Payment is processed through Stripe. Manage or cancel from your account profile page.
- Refunds: iOS subscription refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy. Web subscription refunds may be requested by contacting support@caddieloop.ai.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users through the social features.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Use automated tools to access the service without our permission.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the application.
AI Coaching Disclaimer
CaddieLoop's AI coaching features provide general golf advice based on your entered data. AI recommendations are not a substitute for professional golf instruction. We do not guarantee improvement in your golf game. Use AI advice at your own discretion.
User Content
You retain ownership of the golf data, scores, and other content you submit to CaddieLoop. By using social features (sharing rounds, participating in leagues and matches), you grant us a license to display your content to other users as part of the service.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Account deletion permanently removes all your data including rounds, statistics, friend connections, and league memberships. This action cannot be undone.
Intellectual Property
CaddieLoop and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CaddieLoop and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limitation of Liability
CaddieLoop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of CaddieLoop after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
